Orthopaedic physiotherapy is one of the major specialities of the art and science of physiotherapy. It plays a vital role in the rehabilitation of the physically handicapped. This book discusses the essentials of orthopaedics and applied physiotherapy with an interspeciality therapeutic approach. There are large number of books on orthopaedics and physiotherapy, but all deal with these subjects as separate entities. No book provides overall picture of total therapeutic of total therapeutic management. An effort has been made to fill this gap. The book is mainly targeted for the students of physiotherapy and practicing physiotherapists, but it would also be useful for orthopaedic surgeons and people engaged in the rehabilitation of the physically handicapped.
